this is my poem about connor

my octopus teacher

 Craig said that it looked like an alien, it was very stormy. Craig has a son called Tom who works hard.  Craig thought he was not a good dad. He could hold his breath for a long time. It is hard to go in the water when the water is 8-9 degrees. He doesn't wear a wetsuit. After 1 year of going in the water you get used to it.  The seaweed is like a 3D forest, there were heaps of jellyfish. He felt like he was not on this planet. There was a cool shark called a Pyjama shark, there was a  cuttlefish. Kelp forest  there were lots of hiding holes for the octopus to live in.  The octopus has trust in Craig and stuck on to his hand and started to follow him. Then the lens on his camara fell off  and the octopus swam away.  He spent 1 week looking for the octopus THEN THERE IT  IS…. THE OCTOPUS!  The octopus goes  over to him and starts following him. the octopus clings onto his hand then he had to have a breath, he had to leave and say goodbye to the octopus. But the octopus didn't get off and came to the top then he left.  

Her arm got bitten off, she got trapped in a rock and the pj shark ripped the arm off. She   was milk white.  100 days later the arm had grown back.  Craig was sad because it was his fault that the octopus got its arm bitten off. Day 320 and he saw another Octopus and they were mating when the octopus had  its  babies. The octopus was weak and fish were nibbling it. Craig went back to the octopus and it had died. Cooper cried

lucas - My inspirational person

 Lucas has taught me to fix my motorbike. I look up to him because he is the best. He is  nice and funny. A couple weeks ago he taught me how to ride a sx85, which is a dirt bike. He helped me fix a Carburetor .

He is 12 years old, has 1 brother and his favorite color is blue. He loves motorbikes, fishing, hunting   and is really funny. When I got  one of my own motorbikes he taught me how I  tune the carburetor and fix the engine.

 He taught me to wash my bike so it stays clean. When he told me all this stuff I thought he  was Albert Einstein for a second. but as I grew up I knew he wasn't Albert Einstein.

 He also  taught me a lot more but I look up to him for lots more reasons. He also taught me how to catch eels and how to ride with a clutch  otherwise plut plut plut boom and the bike stops. He is always there for me when I need it. and he has always got a funny story to tell he loves.

 He loves Pig hunting and last year me and him and his little brother Mashil Rode up his race to one of his paddocks and caught a pig by ourselves and rode back. 

Him  and I went to a fishing comp this year. He caught a 5kg king fish he said was the biggest fish he had ever caught. I was so proud of him that he got 6th. Thank you for listening

 today liz van der laarse the other of cuz she answered our questions she told us that she was 50 when she finished she also seed she was writing anther book the book is about two step brothers the older brother is jealous of his little brother   and she said for us to read 'not even'  her second book

 today we went  down to the wetlands with  nikau class first we got sum peanut butter  so we went and filed the traps and then we had to drag the cut branches to the bonfire.

my speech

 uhhhhhh friday why do i have to go to school? 

Fridays at school should be optional because well it's just boring now don't you Agree?  

I know that our family is always busy doing motor x, fishing, horse riding, camping, and road trips. 

For example if you have plans to do an activity with your family just take the day off FRIDAY easy ha. i would like that because we are always busy and then we can fit in everything and not try to rush

Furthermore with the extra day off we would work way better at school with only 4 days 

Which is pretty good for me.  With an extra day off you have more time to think about work and what you want to achieve. I want to be a mechanic or something where i work with my hands so the more experience i get will help me achieve this goal.

For instance it's good to take a break. and sleep in because if you are like me you  really like to sleep in and miss the bus so on fridays it would be fine.    

 

And with Friday off you can help at home with work.  For example on my farm i help out with shifting the cattle.  You can start to learn the stuff you need in life like building or repairs.  At home i help dad repair the tractors and work on my motorbike, this is teaching me mechanics and maintenance.

Also with the day off you could get  more exercise mountain biking, kayaking and horse riding  because you will have more time to do it  and maybe a little snack.  

I think that after this speech  the teachers are going to wan’t the day off which i think is fair don't you?  thank you for listening to my speech

The raccoon, we'll call him Raccy he trend 16 so he went for a walk in the morning. On his way back he found a car he was so happy he started to run home to tall his prints. He got home and they surprised him, surprise! 
said the prints, then he surprised them and told them about the car. 

So they ran to the car and jumped in for a ride.  Till they realised that the car did'int work so Raccy said "lets get to work".  So they got to work and fixed the car and went for a drive but they crashed and went home for diner. the end

             

the best day so far 2021

The delicious creamy soft scone with super soft and fluffy cream paired with a dark  jam. The flavor of it was crazy! The crumbs fall into my palm. it was sitting right there in front of me.  It was like waiting for the day to end I couldn't wait. When I had it in my hands it was crumbling into a big mess.

lantern festival

wellingtons lantern festival 26th of February. at the lantern festival there will be dragon dancing and a lot of music there will be heaps of lanterns it's only 3 days till the lantern festival and we might be going to it
